This is Martha she is so cute and very nosey. I found her chasing the sparrows away from her food this morning. She is the smallest so I suppose bossing the sparrows made her feel bigger.
Roof tiles make great seed trays, the girls can eat all at once. Still no eggs though.

ReplyDeletemore years ago than I care to remember I had a saturday job (yes, I was still at school) collecting eggs in a battery farm. It was awful, stinky, noisy, really nasty. Your hens are living how they should, including bullying sparrows!
OH yuc they are horrid places it's one of the reasons for getting the girls.
